Hello,
Well we went to see the 7:00pm TRANSFORMERS last night and I have to say I was totally amazed the entire movie, unbelievable! Shia LaBeouf was the perfect actor for the part of Sam Whitwhicky and made the movie... that is, along with Industrial Light and Magic. Which, of course, literally made the majority of the movie and was utterly amazing. Anyway, great movie, definitely worth seeing and probably will be the best, overall, movie of the year.
One thing to expect... this movie is hilarious! We laughed, hard, quite a few times. Also, make sure you don't get up out of your seat with the credits roll because there is more. Three seperate scenes worth.
Have fun.

The Car
The Movie Industry
Well, if you are like me you are a huge movie fan. In my opinion, movies are getting better every year. The people who are behind the scenes and those on the screen are breaking new barriers with every new release. The July release of Transformers in my opinion will probably be the most impressive display of all these talents and abilities since The Matrix and Lord of The Rings trilogies.
One thing that I see that really is disappointing, to me, in regards to the Movie Industry would be the overall clickishness (I know it's not a word, but it fits the bill) of the industry executives. What I mean by this is, and I will use myself as an example, being an outsider and trying to break into this industry is ridiculous. I have been trying to get my synopsis read for over a year... my synopsis! I'm not even talking about my script! I get the same story every time... "move to L.A., get to know someone, talk them into giving you a referral, and then maybe we will look at it." Are you kidding me? How many people can just up and do this?
My last thought on this is to give a little praise to the Indie producers and directors out there. To me, this is where the "future" of the movie industry as a whole lies. A lot of these people are more talented than some of the biggies running around L.A. Look at some of the great movies that are coming out from these artists. Go to the My Big Imagination Myspace Page and check some of them out. I am trying to add as many of them as possible.
Have fun.
